How it All Began - Addendum

All the kits quoted ahead were kept in my memory and could be quoted  immediately when I started the nostalgic look at my modelling past in 2003. Nontheless  during my collecting and research activities a few other kits emerged in my memory  which I forgot in my first recollection of memories.

Dealing with the German battleship Graf  Spee from Progesswerk Nuernberg, which I aquired in the end of 2012  I came upon a Graf Spee kit from Eagle. Now I remembered that I had some small scale Eagle ships, too. I do not remember which individual kit. The Graf Spee depicted below serves as an example only.

Having cleaned up my parents house in 2013 after the dead of my mother we found a batch of built-up historic cars from Airfix. That immediately reminded me that I was also involved in building and painting such cars, though I cannot determine if the specific cars we found were from my younger brothers or fom myself.
How

Doing research on early Revell kits raised the question if there was a connection between Gowland and Airfix historical ships. I remembered I must have had some small scale historical ships from Airfix,/Plasty too.

In mid 2014 I came upon a nice picture of he Douglas Skywarrior in the 1962 Observer's book of aircraft and immediately remembered that I must have had this kit from Revell, too (see Revell Kits I Remember ).

More to come ?
